Merry Christmas everybody!
I just wanted to share a little video I made today after we went and passed out presents in one of our favorite Costa Rican barrios. Our group joined a church that we have been helping out with construction, and took food and gifts down to a community we have already bonded with and spent some time in. True to World Race style, we didn’t exactly know what we were getting ourselves into, and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that the gifts we were distributing were actually from Operation Christmas Child. I grew up making these little shoe boxes full of Christmas presents for kids and I was so excited to be on the other end this time. It was special to see firsthand how happy the kids were to have a little bit of Christmas cheer brought to them. This is the first video I have attempted to make myself, so I hope you enjoy it!
With all the focus this Christmas on gifts, just remember, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35) One look at these beautiful faces will be confirmation enough 🙂

I know Christmas is a busy time of year for many, but if you would also keep in prayer the finances of my squad out here that would be wonderful 🙂 Myself and 5 others are still short of our December 31st deadline of $10,000. Here is a fun video about it, along with the names of those still waiting to reach the goal (and links to their personal blogs) Merry Christmas!!
