Golden State Warriors won the NBA Finals!!! WOOOOOO!

I’ve been taken off the waiting list and given my official World Race route! WOOOOOOOOOO!

I can FINALLY wash my Stephen Curry shirt AND answer the question about where exactly I’ll be traveling during the 11 months of the World Race.

Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe!!!

I want to thank everyone who has donated and given me financial support, encouragement, wisdom and prayers so far. You all rock my socks! It’s always comforting to know I’m loved well by so many, and a blessing to be surrounded by such a wonderful community of people.

The Lord is continually reminding me to trust in Him during my preparation and fundraising for this journey.

I’m often times overwhelmed.

I’m discouraged and then reassured.

Fearful and then faith-filled.

Worried and then comforted.

The cycle of emotion is never-ending, but I’m thankful for every part of it. Through this process I’m experiencing tremendous growth and a renewed perspective on patience.

I get glimpses of Him daily. I actually decided to end my blog posts with “Bits of His Goodness” (coined by my college roommate). Not only to share, but also as a reminder to reflect on how God is moving in my life. God is good. Sometimes we just forget to take notice.

Bits of His Goodness:

–       Received a bear hug and request for a fundraising letter from a random lady I met in coffee shop

–       Elderly woman I bumped into on my run decides to place a check in my mailbox after I told her about the WR

–       Distant relative decides to buy 11 of my fundraising t-shirts

–       Old neighbor and good friend surprises me with a feature in the local newspaper (in the works)
