Hello everyone!!! I write today with awesome and exciting news!
Right now I’m writing this blog from a Starbucks in northwest Georgia. Starting tomorrow Saturday May 19th, I’ll be spending a week in White, Georgia going through my official training for The World Race!
Right now my excitement level is off the charts! I’ll be meeting my squad, 60 crazy young adults completely sold out for Jesus! I’ll be getting split up into my team. My team will be a group of 5-8 people that will be doing ministry together for the next 11 months. My team will become like family in no time. We will live life together; ups and downs, fun times and not so fun times. Through it all over the next 11 months my team will be there by my side.
While I’m there I will also be learning about the different cultures ill be engaging the next 11 months. It will be a experience I don’t think ill soon forget!
If I can ask a huge favor of you all this week? I need your prayers. There are some specific areas that I know I need the Lords help in!
- To remember the information I’m presented with so I can best use it when I’m on the field!
- That I will end up on a team with people that compliment my personality and that I compliment their personality’s! (a team of all jokers is fun but nothing gets done and a team of all serous people, stuff gets done but everyone gets annoyed!)
- An open mind and a teachable spirit for myself
I will be blogging multiple times this week but I’m not going to send out email alerts for them all because I value your time and I appreciate you taking your time to read my blogs! At the end of the week I will write a blog and link all the training camp blogs in that blog so they will be easily accessible.
