Hey guys! Last month, my team and Team Chrysalis worked together at Faith Family Children’s Home in Malaybalay City in the Philippines. I’ll have a couple of blogs coming with details about how we served in a local prison ministry and just loving the kids at the orphanage. But this one is just for fun.
Upon arriving in the Philippines, we found out that basketball is a huge deal here and we were offered the opportunity to play in a local league. Not only that, but we bought uniforms! It was so cool and totally unexpected. In the middle of the World Race, I was playing on an organized basketball team with uniforms and strategy against local teams like MBC (Malaybalay Ball Club). We finished the month with a final record of 13-3 thanks largely to our star player, Matt Patch. The following is a video of our team, thanks to Matt for making it. Enjoy!
