Hey everybody!

Sorry it’s been forever
since I’ve written, the end of the summer was a crazy time.  I wanted to write a blog to wrap up
everything that happened this year, so here goes!

This summer was
incredible.  After doing set-up and
helping to write curriculum and training procedures, I supervised four ministry
sites (Arecibo and Luquillo Puerto Rico, New Orleans, and Johnstown, PA) with
four staff each.  I grew to love my 16
staff dearly and was so proud to see the incredible growth that God brought
about in them over the summer.  I saw these amazing men and women grow in giftings, awaken to previously
unknown passions, and learn how to live in intentional community.  Many of them went through brokenness and
hardship, but I think for every single one of them, this summer was one of
incredible intimacy and growth with the Lord.

God absolutely rocked my
world with what he let me witness this summer.
Our teams cleaned streets, painted houses, worked on a goat farm, did
yard work, and cleaned beaches.  They led VBS and sports camps for hundreds of children, dozens of whom came to know
Jesus for the first time.  Teenagers and
their adult leaders embarked on an “Ask the Lord” adventure every week, not
knowing where they were going or what they were going to do, but always seeing
the Lord move in amazing ways.  I even
got to see some teenagers accept Christ or re-dedicate their lives.  One teen in particular shared in Puerto Rico
on his team’s last night, “before this trip, I had kind of given up on
God.  This week has shown me that He is
still real, and that He still loves me”.

Just at my four sites
alone, I heard of several dozen people coming to Christ for the first time directly through our ministry, and that only includes the stories that I got to
hear.  In addition, people in desperate
need of love received it from Him, through our groups.  Our New Orleans team stumbled upon a
beautiful girl named Amy who has epilepsy and can’t really leave the house.  Amy’s mom wrote this to my New Orleans
project leader:

“…You have given Amy and I a routine and a reason to get
dressed

every day.  Every day we look forward to your visit.  The
kindness and

love in your hearts is over-flowing and reminds me everyday how

thankful for the many blessing God has given us.  You are
angels that

have lifted us spiritually, emotionally and have given us the
strength

to continue when we couldn’t do it on our own.  Each of you is
more of

a family to me than my natural born family…”

All in all, we mobilized over 2500 youth this summer.  The last 8 months of work were very, very
difficult.  Sitting here reflecting on
it, however, I know that it was absolutely worth it and I know that the Lord is
pleased.

Thank you so much for your support throughout this year, those of
you who have prayed for me and supported me financially share in the
inheritance of the work that was done this summer.  Thank you!

Finally, what’s next for Adam Coleman?  I’ve got big news, so stay tuned.  Update coming soon!
