This week’s beautiful thing the Lord has revealed to me is flowers.
For our adventure day last week, we went to an orange grove. Our guide drove us to the top of a mountain and there, overlooking the orange grove, was a beautiful flower garden. This garden was full with variety of colors and sweet smells.
In that moment of taking in this tiny piece of Heaven surrounding me, Papa spoke. He said, “Look how beautiful these flowers are that I have made just for you to enjoy.”
I just sat there in the midst of His creation in sheer thankfulness.
He didn’t have to make these flowers,
but He did anyway
because He loves us.
During my time in the midst of this flower garden, I kept thinking back to the scripture in Matthew 6.
“If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers-most of which are never seen-don’t you think He’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do His best for you? Relax; do not be so preoccupied with getting so you can respond to God’s giving.” (MSG)
He takes care of you, takes pride in you, invests in you, and does what is best for you.
You are such a beautiful creation of the Lord’s.
He loves you for who you are, but He also loves you too much to leave you that way.
Continue to step with Him.
Abandon your rights and comforts, press into the Brokenness you experience SO THAT you become completely Dependent on Him.
