I have some exciting news, this Thursday April 30th my best friend, Marie, and I will be walking a marathon to help fundraise for the world race.
Why are we undertaking this 26.2 mile hike (8-9 hours of walking)?
Because the world race gap year is such a big deal and with all of your help I will get to be a part of it! The world race gap year is a 9 month mission trip where we will be serving God in three different countries and where we will also be receiving training about mission work and discipleship.
How can you be a part of this amazing hike?
Great question, we are looking for sponsors, each sponsor will choose an amount to donate per mile, it can be anywhere from .50 to $15 a mile.
This is an awesome way to help support my trip, most people have been making pledges of $1 per mile (total of $26) or $2 per mile (total of $52). These little donations add up fast and will help me meet my goal, you can even give .50 per mile which is only $13 for the whole marathon.
