New fundraiser time!
Myself and several other racers have decided to head to Mount Bierstadt (a 14ner in colorado) where we will be able to challenge ourselves mentally and physically to complete my first 14ner, for those of you who are not aware, “14ner” means a mountain that’s summit has an elevation of at least 14,000 feet. This will not only be a great opportunity to connect with some of my fellow racers and see more of God’s amazing creations, but it has also given me another opportunity to raise funds for the world race.
How can I be a part of this hike? There are several ways to become a part of this journey; the first is to have my fellow racers and I in your prayers Tuesday August 11th as we begin our hike, the second is to become a sponsor and donate towards this fundraiser.
How will giving financially work? Each sponsor will be pledging a certain $ amount per 100ft elevation climb of the hike, which means whatever $ amount you decide to pledge you will multiply by 140 to get the total donation; for example, if you were to pledge $1 per 100ft the total donation would be $140. However, I suggest smaller pledges per 100ft elevation, like .15c = $21, .25c = $35 or .50c = $70, while these are smaller amounts they will add up fast and help my fundraising to meet its next deadline, which is $7,500 by August 27th.
How can I donate? You will simply go to my blog and click on the donate banner, you will put in the total amount of your donation along with your information. My blog is also where you can subscribe for updates on my trip while I am on the field. (https://abigailkidd.theworldrace.org/)
