“His name is above depression, His name is above loneliness, His name is above disease, His name is above cancer, His name is above ALL other names” – Way Maker. This means that God has power and control over all these things, there is nothing His name is not above. Just in the last month we have seen communities all over the world turn towards God. We have seen a spike of people turning towards Him for healing and protection, because of COVID-19. Large churches are closing, which is causing people to open their homes to host small gatherings where people can worship and rejoice in the name of God, like in the book of Acts. We have seen our community come together in a way never seen before, putting aside their differences and working together to help each other get through these dark times. We have seen ideals like sporting advents and entertainment platforms shutdown. Schools and workplaces are being shutdown, which is forcing much needed time for families to come together and build back their broken relationships. The stock market is plummeting, which is exposing the greed of humanity and causes people to fall back on God to provide. We have also seen a spike of prayer and a recognized need for God and his love and healing. While most of humanity is in panic because of COVID-19, God has been working amazing miracles. This goes to show that He has everything under control, and everything is in His capable hands. I hope this encourages you, as you go through these next few weeks, remember that God has this under control and there is no need for us to worry. I urge you to take necessary sanitary precautions for your safety but put your fears and anxieties in God’s hands and allow him to do his work. I truly believe that we as a people are going to come out of this stronger and hungrier for Jesus Christ than ever before. I am so excited to see all the amazing things God has for us in the future and I can’t wait to be a part of it.
Thank you all so much for your love and support these past few months, as I look back at my life since I’ve become a part of the world race it truly amazes me how much I’ve grown and changed in my faith. When I joined the world race, I felt lost, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. Since I’ve joined, I have gotten a lot of clarity for what God wants in my future and what I need to be working towards. I am still struggling to let go of some ideals and bring myself away from sin, but with Gods help I am continuing to grow closer to Him and my goals. I would love if you could take a few minutes to pray that God will continue to guide me and bring me out of sin and closer to him.
As far as fundraising I am still going strong, I have been very blessed with all my amazing supporters and I am getting closer to my goal every day. My Goal is still to have $5,000 by the end of this month, which is coming up fast, so every little bit helps. Again, thank you all so much for your support in this amazing journey I am on.
