Hi friends, family, and anybody simply curious what this link was.
I wanted to post a blog kind of giving more information about the World Race for those of you who may not know many details, and share different ways I would love for you to be a part of my team. I am eager and expectant of the Lord showing up in building a team around me as I am in the season of preparation for this mission trip!
For those of you who have received a support letter recently, this will be a more summed up version of that 🙂
The World Race is part of Adventures in Missions, an interdenominational missions organization that has sent over 100,000 people into the mission field since 1989. The World Race is one of their trips, specifically for young adults to travel to 11 different countries in 11 months. It facilitates discipleship through the process of discovering and sharing the abundant life God promised. It births partnerships with ministries around the world.
My squad and I will serve in partnership with a variety of ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, teach English, aid women and children who have fallen victim to human trafficking, and bring restorative hope of God’s love to those we meet along the way. World Racers are seeing lives changed in nation all over the world.
I have been in Kansas City, Missouri for the past year working at a ministry called Shelterwood Academy as a mentor for at-risk teenagers. This year is coming to a close soon and I am moving on to the next adventure. The Lord has kept opening doors for me in unique and exciting ways and I am thrilled to share with you about my next adventure! The World Race has been something I’ve been prayerfully considering for a couple years now, and the timing just seems right now. I am so eager to take on this adventure and challenge, and I am expectant that the Lord is going to use this trip for His glory. The World Race doesn’t need me, I can offer nothing by myself, but I think it’s amazing that the Lord wants to use me in these 11 countries to share full life with others. What an amazing opportunity to learn how to be fully reliant on the Holy Spirit and His strength. I’ll be packing all my belongings into a backpack, getting to live in a raw and authentic community, see beautiful parts of creation, be challenged daily, discipled by leaders, and I’ll get to tell people about the redemptive power of Jesus every day for 11 months! I want to see lives changed in nations all over the world. I’m excited to see what God will do in and through me on this trip, and I would like to invite you to be a part of my team!
So here’s where you come in. There are two goals I need to accomplish as I prepare for this trip and I need your help. The first goal is to create a prayer support team. I want to ask if you’d be willing to join in praying over this trip with me. Prayers for my team and I as we prepare spiritually, financially, physically and mentally for this trip. Prayers for endurance to run the race ahead of us, for hearts ready to go and serve, and also prayers for those we will come in contact with. I especially ask for prayers that hearts would be transformed, the Gospel to be heard, and full life to be found. Prayer is vital to this trip and to the fulfillment of the calling God has placed on me.
The second part of my preparation is fundraising, which is quite a nerve-wracking part for me as well. The total cost of the trip is $18,200 – which includes the costs of traveling, training, lodging, food, and other necessities while abroad. That amount of money is overwhelming really, but I know that the God who called me to this is faithful to provide. I would ask that you would prayerfully consider financially supporting this mission trip. If you would like to support me financially, you can set up monthly donations OR make a single donation of any size. Please consider giving and know that any amount is immensely appreciated and that you will be doing something significant by enabling me to walk out my call for the World Race. By supporting this mission, you are a part of God’s Kingdom work! If God is leading you to help out financially there are a few ways you can give.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the time to read this. I ask that you would take some time to prayerfully consider if you would like to join my team in some way, shape, or form. Any form of support is greatly appreciated, seriously. I am eager and expectant of what the Lord is doing and will do during this process of building a team and beyond.
