Happy New Years Eve! As some of you know I gave you a challenge to ask God what your word was for this upcoming year, and I also said that I was still waiting to hear what mine was. Well friends I’ve got it; my word is MOTIVATOR.
What does that word mean? For me being motivated to do something is very hard especially in school. I lack motivation because I don’t think that I will succeed so I don’t try. You will see that in some things I am but most of the time to fear of failing takes over and I cannot bring myself to try and achieve. God does not want me to think that I cannot do it, that each time I try something I would fail, what He wants me to believe is that I can do anything I put my mind to and that He will be there to strengthen me. So this overwhelming feeling of being unmotivated is gone, I will be motivated to achieve greatness and intern I will Motivate other to do the same thing.
So there you have my word for this year! I also have some goals that I’ve sorted out for this year as well.
1. Be a better student. work harder on school and do my very best.
2. Work harder on fundraising and reaching the amount needed for my mission trip way before training camp.
3. most importantly GROW CLOSER TO GOD. I know we all say that we try and read the bible each day but life gets in the way of it, but we have to realize how much God has written out for us in those pages, lessons, callings, and warning all throughout it. It truly is one of the most important things we need to do each day.
4. spend as much time as I can with friends and family. These are my people and I cannot live without them but I know God will give me strength to survive and live in Him.
More goals will come as this year goes on but this is all I’ve got for now. Happy New Year everyone be safe and stay motivated!!
