It’s already month three of the race and I’m realizing most of you know nothing about the people that I’m traveling the world with. These women are some of the most Jesus seeking people I know. I’m inspired everyday by the amount of truth that each of them holds and willingly shares. Our team has grown a lot the past 3 months, and one thing I’ve noticed about us is the continual striving towards deeper vulnerability and intimacy with God and each other. There is so much power in being open with one another.

{ TEAM PARAMENO }

The word parameno is one of the 5 Hebrew words that translates to abide in English.

Parameno:  to continue; to remain beside; to continue always near; sometimes used to express confidence in abiding.

This word is special because it’s something that my team has grown in a lot since we first began the race. we have learned how to love each other well even when we’re frustrated, and persevere alongside each other through the hard moments. We have learned how to let get God take captive of our thoughts and emotions and trust him through the process. We have learned the importance of heathy communication. We have learned how to run to God within our struggles and let him be our ultimate source of comfort. We have pushed each other deeper out of our comfort zone and further into growth and intimacy with God. I can’t put into words the amount of  worth i’ve learned from these women.

Team Parameno reminds me of early mornings and black coffee and fire embers and vanilla and dried flowers and laughter and the feeling of running through a field. That’s the best way to describe my time with these girls.
