Hi friends! This week I just wanted to share with you a little song of praise I wrote to the Lord over the past few days about how good of a Shepherd He is! It’s inspired by John 10, Psalm 23, and Matthew 18! Feel free to imagine the melodies and guitar accompaniment in any way you want, and hopefully some day soon I’ll post a little recording of it sung by me for you!

“Oh, that You would speak to me

Cause near Your heart is where I want to be

In your love, I’m learning I am free

To follow where Your voice will lead

You’re my Shepherd, You lead me to a place

Where I can rest in the pasture of Your grace

I lack nothing, if all I have is you

And in the darkness, I can trust in Your rescue

Oh, that You would walk me home

To the place I’m fully loved and known

In the safety of Your arms I dwell

Where my soul can sing that it is well

You’re my Shepherd, You lead me to a place

Where I can rest in the pasture of Your grace

I lack nothing, if all I have is you

And in the darkness, I can trust in Your rescue

I may be a lost one

But You sent down your Son

Though I’m a sheep that’s gone astray

You invite me into Your arms to stay

You’re my Shepherd, You lead me to a place

Where I can rest in the pasture of Your grace

I lack nothing, if all I have is You

And in the darkness, I can trust in your rescue”
