Only took us about 4 total days of travel but we made it! The lord is good.

We left Atlanta Monday morning at 5 am and we took a big bus to NYC. It took us 18 hours to get up the coast. I have always wanted to explore the east coast since I’ve never been to any of those states before, it was sick. The bus ride wasn’t that bad except that I only slept an hour before the bus ride and then slept four on the bus so getting to the hotel that night was great. I slept for a solid ten hours that night at the hotel and I SO needed it.

The next morning in NYC we woke up and left at 12 for the airport. We needed a way there and didn’t want to be in a pickle so we ended up going 12 hours early. Chillin in their JFK airport was fun. We laughed, ate McDonald’s, and charged our phones under the water fountains. #splashzone

Then the flight to Portugal was 7 hours and I at midnight. I watched two movies and read my book. It was good quite time but  totally should have slept because we ended up leaving the airport and sight seeing Portugal then had another flight to Romania. SO it ended up being a solid 33 hours I was going on four hours of sleep. For those of you that know know me know that i do HORRIBLE on lack of sleep. But PTL (praise the lord) I didn’t kill anyone (joking) but for seriously I stayed cool and happy.

So we flew a few hours to Romania, I slept the whole way and felt super refreshed. Then a bus ride to the train station and then a two hour train ride THEN WE MADE IT!! Talk about crazy travel days haha.
Although the crazy, it was awesome. I learned a lot about myself and traveling. I rode a train for the first time and I’m in Europe for the first time!! Cool things are happening!

Romania is so pretty. It has a lot of flat farm land where we are. One of the locals was telling us that the season for growing is over and that’s why its so bear. There apparently are sunflower fields so i must come back one day to see them bc wow that would be beautiful!!!

We did our first day of ministry on the second day of being here and it was so fun! We are with Hope church this month. Today we went to two villages and passed out glasses. We welcomed people, took their blood pressure, talked to them about their life and prayed for them, and gave them a bible and set of glasses. I welcomed and passed out glasses and it was awesome. It is so cool being in this culture and having the realizations that I will be here for a month!!!!
