Okay so it’s team time right now and my leader, Amie Beth, told us that we were getting a piece of paper, write a topic for a random blog post, then pick a piece of paper, and get ONLY FIVE MINUTES TO WRITE A BLOG so this is gonna be rough and

I deleted the original by a brain fart and so here’s five minuets ROUND TWO *ding ding*
“What has been your favorite moment of the world race so far?”
Okay so when I signed up for the World Race I picked my route knowing we were going to Europe and I was so excited!! Boarder hopping was such a possibility since everything was gonna be so close!
But listen once you’re over here everything is actually so far away and things are a lot father futher? Idk but anyway google maps makes it look like the countries are so close
SO I wanted so bad to go to Greece and gave that up by the time we got to Europe because we didn’t have the ability to go that far on our one day days off. So I was bummed but still excited to even be in Europe!!
BUT GET THIS: after like even the first day of being in Draganesti, Kacie announced that Raul, our ministry host, was offering to take us to Greece. And that was where my fav moment took place
If you know me you know I HATE heights but LOVE cliff jumping. So when we went to Greece they said we could cliff jump so the second day of being in Greece we went to this amazing beach that had such blue sky touching, the foggy mountains, kissing the blue water. IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO BE WOW. but cliff jumping was high enough to be scary and take your breath away but low enough that I could climb up and go again, and again, and again.
Then after most people cleared out, it was me and some of my teammates still at the cliffs. Since it was so great out there we decide to hike/climb/crawl?? Up the side of the cliffs around the bend of the hill. As we crawled on we got cut up since we were doing this in only swim suits and Chaco’s. but after we got to the best part of the view, I shared a rock with Bernadette and Katie. It was great to bask in the glory and view that god made for us! It was sweet.
Not only the view am I going to remember, but the hike back…. oh man.
Since it was so hard to climb to the spot we got to, we decided that the only way back was to go through the brush and stickers towards “the sounds of the beach” we hoped we were doing it right haha. But it took so long as well as painful to get back but it was HILARIOUS! We were so mad but also laughed through the pain so much. Being in only swim suits and trying to get back was so so funny like bern was not made for that, Katie was not wearing shoes, Colby was filming us, and Jacob was leading the way. Haha it was hilarious
We finally emerged and ran to the water and soothed our cuts with the cool water of the ocean.
I could not stop just beaming because it was awful and great and awesome all at once.
Being around fun friends, hot summer air, cool beach water, and just in Greece (like what!!!!!!) and wow what the what
It was a moment with great friends, in a great place, that I will never forget.
So I’m done now and think I went over five minutes, shhh don’t tell anyone but hey everyone loves run on sentences, am I right? I think that was one but idk sorry mom im bad at grammar
