My name is Abby Lokey, I am 18 years old and I am from Lubbock Texas! I have grown up in a Christian home with a single mother who is fearless and my two sisters who are my best friends. My father is not currently in the picture however it has only made me stronger and more dependent on my heavenly father. I am very involved with my youth group, which has given me a huge heart for ministry. I first heard about the World Race Gap Year when my older sister, Kate, applied and got accepted! I never thought I would get the chance to do something as extravagant as the World Race, however, after a lot of prayer and thinking, here I am… and I am STOKED!!! After the Race I plan to attend Texas Tech and start my career in ministry!
