So a squadmate challenged me to step out and worship a new way by re-writing a psalm. Well i took it a step further and kind of took verses from all my fav psalms and made a whole new one so here it is psalm 151!
To you, Lord I call; you are my rock, do not turn a dead ear to me.
Because my hope, Lord is in you.
For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.
Let my feet stand on solid ground Lord!
God is with her she will not fall!
Show me your ways Lord teach me your path. Guide me in your truth and teach me.
In you lord my God I put my trust!
Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. Lord you have been our dwelling place throughout generations before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting.
Be still and know that I am God!
Within your temple, o God we meditate on your unfailing love.
The lord almighty is with you.
God is our refuge and strength an everlasting help in trouble, therefore we will not fear.
God is with her she will not fall!
Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Satisfy us in the morning with your u failing lone that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
