Hi everybody! I’ll just give a brief introduction of myself and some of my story.

I’m 18 years old and a freshman in college at Campbellsville University. I’m currently majoring in Special Education and minoring in Educational Ministries. I have a huge passion for working with special needs children so I hope I can continue doing that for the rest of my life!

I love love love traveling, exploring, and being outdoors:going to the lake, hiking, and hammocking. I’m a big fan of summer weather, love cute puppies and babies, and taking all the naps:) I also love reading when I have time (not much extra time while in college but I try to make it work).

So what got me here? How did I decide on this trip?

Last summer I went on a mission trip to Guatemala with my church. I had always wanted to go on a mission trip but my parents were lenient on letting me travel out of the country without them, but my senior year they finally said yes! While in Guatemala, my team served at a beautiful orphanage and got to love on precious kids (if you know me at all, you know this is my favorite thing). At the end of my trip I realized that God has given me the heart for missions and that I want to use my talents and abilities He’s given me to help spread the Gospel and bring glory to His name, all around the world.

I’ve been praying about another mission opportunity that God would lead me to, and like always, God answered my prayers. I found out about Adventures in Missions from a guy on Instagram, followed the end of his World Race journey, and immediately knew that’s what I was supposed to do. I read about all of the opportunities and trips and was pulled toward the Semesters:Brazil and Argentina trip.

I’m beyond excited for this trip and can not wait to see how God works through me and my team leading up to this summer and while we’re serving throughout those two months in the field!
