month 9 (next week). my last month in swaziland, my last month on the race, and then home. everything i had been planning for the past 2 years, so quickly coming to an end, but also coming to the start of a new season with new growth and new beginnings.
i knew this trip was just preparing the way for what the lord has for me, a stepping stone into a bigger future and fulfilling what the lord has called me to, but i didn’t know what that necessarily meant for my future. still not 100% sure, but i do know the next step.
month 5 in myanmar, we had a night where we just spent time talking with the lord and asking him questions. very clearly, i heard him tell me i wasn’t done growing and that the discipleship school through adventures in missions would be a good step for solidifying my race and another step in the right direction for my future.
so cga! center for global action. it’s a 5 month discipleship school in georgia that focuses on leading yourself so that you can lead others. we spend monday’s in intercession for the staff and worship, and tuesday’s through fridays in a classroom setting. we volunteer weekly and get jobs in the community as a way to pour into them and put into play what we’re learning.
it’s 5 more months of living in community and discipleship and growing more towards that person the Lord created me to be. and it’s more fundraising!
my fundraising goal is $6,000, so if you feel any urge or desire to support me, that would mean sooo so much!
much much love and many thanks to everyone who has kept up with my journey and this race, and all the prayers.
