The wind beats against my ears. My hair blows behind me with my legs outstretched. As my legs bend and I swing backwards, my hair begins blow into my face. My Dad’s hand gently hits my back and pushes me forward once again.
“Higher!” I yell. As Dad pushes me higher, He’s always there even if I don’t feel His hand. I choose to join His work by pumping my legs to go higher. We are in sync, but it takes commitment moment by moment.
In this season, Abba wants me to swing higher and has put the desire in my to do the same. What does it look like for us to partner with God? What does it look like to literally lean into what He wants for you and pump your legs? It doesn’t have to be something big and radical. It can be something as simple as saying “yes” to a conversation or saying “yes” to praying for someone.
Our Father wants you to swing in freedom, to live in freedom, and to know what that means for this season. So let’s ask Him and let’s lean into it.
