• Ministry of the month:

This month my team was working with India Christian Ministries. They are in the process of redoing their website and trying to educate more people about the organization so we received the task of helping them with that. We went into villages for a day at a time, following and interviewing pastors, and taking video and pictures to be used for the website. I focused on pictures and loved having the time to take them and edit them! When we were in the villages one of us would always preach and then we would pray for countless people before leaving the services. We also went house to house to pray for people on several occasions.

  • Favorite Memory:

Worshiping with hundreds of Indians and praying for them and loving on the children!

  • Biggest Challenge:

Honestly, it sounds ridiculous, but the food. Not being able to eat normally because of the spiciness was difficult for me. My teammates loved it and I just really wished I would have been able to eat it.

  • Food:

This month was by far the most difficult month for me regarding food. I can't eat any spicy food, and Indian food is all spicy. So, I ate a lot of rice, chapatti, crackers, and chips. Needless to say I didn't have a well balanced diet!

  • Random WR Moment:

Cows in the middle of the street. Going to the Taj Mahal before getting on a plane. Praying for a set of pens/bananas/a tractor. Praying over the random food that was given to us. Praying for the popcorn boy to show up. There was a lot of randomness this month.

  • Funniest Moment:

Why I can't think of anything, I don't know, but we did laugh a lot!

  • What I’ll miss:

The colors! The people! The chai! India is a really special place and I now know what I have always wanted to come here.

  • Spiritual Lesson/Revelation:

Believe. God really spoke that word over me as I was praying for countless people. I need to believe without question the prayers that I am praying  and the people need to believe them as well. Like Jesus said, blessed are those who believe without seeing. So I just have to have faith and believe. He also used me to speak some messages that I never would have on my own so I learned a lot about my words vs. his words.

  • Prayer Requests:

Pray for India. For India Christian Ministries, that they will continue to grow and expand. That there will be a church in every village in Andhra Pradesh by 2020 and many more supporters will step forward.
