For my squad, and anyone else who finds it interesting, here are 50 facts about me 🙂
- my real name is Elizabeth, but everyone calls me Abby
- I am the only female Twarek in Indiana (my mom kept her maiden name)
- I was born in Indiana and expect for college and while I was in China have lived in the same house my whole life
- I have an older brother who is married
- they have my nephew who is adorable and almost a year old
- I also have a little brother who is great
- I went to Indiana Wesleyan University
- graduated in 2009 with a degree in special education
- but started out majoring in physical therapy
- God totally changed my major
- I lived and worked in China for over 2 years
- my favorite color is green
- I love sports of all kinds
- in fact I've been told by family friends that I may need to play dumb if I boy I like knows less about sports that I do
- that will never happen 😉
- college basketball is pretty much the best, especially March Madness
- love the Purdue Boilermakers
- and Indianapolis Colts
- and Chicago Cubs
- and any team Drew Brees plays for (my sports crush since the late 90's)
- I did long jump and hurdles in high school and freshman year of college and I really miss them
- I am a really competitive person
- I love kids
- I am and ISFJ and it fits me very well
- some people think I am and extrovert but I'm really not
- it's mainly because love hanging out in small groups of good friends, small groups being the key phrase
- love going on coffee dates
- or for long walks
- love love love chai
- I miss real Chinese food (and am excited to be able to eat it on the race!)
- I've also been to Mexico and Canada
- having to get extra pages in my passport because of all of my Chinese visa makes me really happy
- right now I am very much in a time of sabbatical and it's strange at times
- I love driving
- and flying
- I love photography
- my favorite season is usually whatever season it currently is
- I can't imagine not living someplace with snow
- love to read
- love cooking of all kinds
- decorating cookies makes me happy
- I love doing craft projects
- I am pretty clumsy and run into things all the time
- I have a very very low spice tolerance
- I can not stand peanut butter, the smell even gets to me
- sometimes it takes me a really long time to get a joke
- I am usually really good at remember names and faces
- being able to meet people from so many countries make me excited
- meeting all my squad makes me incredibly excited too!
