I know, I know . . . I’m in MOLDOVA. Wrong eastern European country there, Abby. Still, I am trying this new thing called following through. I am an ENFP for all of you Myers Briggs lovers, and it’s one of my personality traits to start a project, get really excited about it, begin the work and then never quite finish.

It’s a battle. And it’s one that I am trying to fight with the continuation of my “Life in a Day” series.

Welcome to Romania. Soon, I’ll talk about Moldova.

Expect to see:

  • the marriage of city and country life as we took over a dairy farm
  • endless sanding, screwing and plastering in Habitat for Humanity homes
  • Austin’s unruly dreadlocks peeking from beneath his bandana
  • all of the fixings for BLTs… complete with Lay’s potato chips and Coke (I told you, this was Romerica!)
  • my favorite Romanian teens being funny and charming as usual
  • Janelle, ballooner extraordinaire
  • a monstrous dog that weighed approximately 2 tons and, despite its cuddly appearance, ate a cat one day
  • the faces of precious children who have happy homes thanks to Caminul Felix Family Villages
