For the incredible ways that You work in my life and in the lives of those around me. Thank You so, so much for the hearts that you have impressed upon to help fund this ministry. Thank You also for the wonderful thing that is the call You put on my heart to go and serve Your people. I am blessed and beyond words. Every single thank you that I could say to You and to the people who are making this mission work possible would simply not be enough. Who am I that You should know my name? Who am I that You should pick me- for anything? Who am I to have the ability to bear Your Name after all the times that I drug it through the mud and back? I am truly no one; but You are everything that I could never be. You enable me. You love me, all of us, enough to be an active part of our lives and for that I am so grateful. Your love is so great that it pushes beyond all the sin. Your love is so powerful that it changes lives. Your love is so true that You do not let us sit idly by to be continually caught up in the passions of this world.. but in You.
Oh, Father.. thank You for all this. Thank you for the incredible squad that You've let me be a part of and the wonderful team that You have allowed me to lead on this great work, The World Race. Thank you for speaking into our lives, those who are venturing, those who are supporting prayerfully and financially and those who loved us Racers enough to let us go in the first place. I am blown away by the thought of leaving for eleven months to places I have never even dreamed of going to, to working through the boundaries of language like I've never had to before and living off the Word like I've never done before. Oh Father, strengthen us. Bind these Your squads and Your teams together with cords that cannot be broken. Grant us wisdom, discernment and unity within the body.
