So I know that most of you guys follow my blog and you know that I’m not fully funded for the next part of my Race, and I am technically not even funded enough to be here now. I am in need of $5800 to be fully funded for the remainder of the World Race. This has been the best experience I’ve ever had and I would hate to have to leave my squad and my team- Team Anew. Fundraising is probably my least favorite thing about being here because money is the one thing that I hate having to ask for. I like to be able to take care of myself in that respect, but this is the area that God has been using to teach me about trust and obedience. For the first deadline that was due on the Race in April, I agonized over it and spent the majority of my month in Bolivia stressing myself out over something that I can’t control, but God took care of it. Even though I didn’t meet my financial deadline, I’m still here with my squad and experiencing God in new and amazing ways every single day. From that experience, I’ve learned to trust God more even though it doesn’t always work out the way that I think it should.
