Love is why I am here. 
The love when we corporately worshipping as a body of Christ.   The love when I am fighting with
my sisters. The love when spending many afternoons over at friends house
because I love the fellowship.  The
love of saying goodbye to those I will miss but knowing they are praying for
me.  The love when I don’t agree
with one of my parents.  The love
when someone cuts me off when I am driving.   The love I saw in my families’ eyes when we said
goodbye to each other.  The love I
saw in each team member’s eyes as we boarded our first plane ride to Hong
Kong.  Love that I felt from
Allison when she talks about her heart for the Philippians.  The love that I can see in the men that
I passed as we went through customs. 
The love of Jeff Long when he talks about all the Lord has blessed him
with in his ministry.  The Love I
see in the streets of Manila.  The
love that Gary and Lisa share with us when they are teaching what the Lord has
called them to teach.  I see the
love in the kids that stand outside our gate of our home. 

But…

“And to know this love that surpasses knowledge- that you
may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:19

The Lords love is so much greater and it just allows me to
love these things because they are characteristics of his love.  I can not wait to see what I am going
to learn to love over the next 11 months.

Quick update:

 We
made it to the Philippians on Monday early afternoon.  We road a bus to  Jeff Long’s ministry house. (one of the contacts that a few
teams will be working with this month)   Here we have been learning about where we will be
living for the next month and searching our hearts with teachings from Gary and
Lisa Black  and Rusty Jackson. 

We
will be leaving this Saturday to head to the dump  working at a children’s home.  Please keep  us
in your prayers.
