The little girl stood 3 foot
5 inches tall. Her eyes spoke of
hunger, pain and loneliness. Her
hands were callused and tainted from the hard work she did in the field to
support her family. Her feet were
neglected of any shoes because she would rather her baby sister have protected
feet. She is a little girl who
accepted me with arms wide open and I will never be the same.

Bungoma, Kenya Summer 2007

This man has a greater
calling on his life. He was
beaten, wounded and close to death of his life because of his Life
calling.   This man lives out
of the passion of his life. When
he becomes thirsty, when his well is dry, when his soul is dirty he knows who
is by his side. He knows his name
has been called. He seizes the moment. He takes a chance. He risks the ocean. His life was a testimony to me and for
that I will never be the same.

Kitale, Kenya December 2009

Their battle cry is in their
worship. Their hearts cultivate
the presence of the Lord and their hands and feet show the obedience of their
calling. Their hunger for the
broken, poor, neglected is beyond what human hearts can handle. Their first offense is to fight for one
another and in return their own backs are covered. They are part of a generation that is changing this world.
And because of this community, I will never be the same.

Nairobi, Kenya June 2011

Captivated.

That word doesn’t bring
rightfulness to who I have become because of this journey that I am on. We are all captivated by something we have
seen in our lives. Something we
have experienced or something that has impacted our hearts. And we leave that experience
captivated.

We want more of it. We find a way to cultivate that same
feeling wherever we find ourselves. Because that experience changed us.

In ’07 I spent 10 weeks in
Bungoma, Kenya. In ’09 I spent
four weeks in Kitale, Kenya. In
June 2011 I spend six days in Nairobi, Kenya. And each time that left a lasting impression.

And the one thing they all
have in common is my calling. In
Bungoma it was the love of God’s child. In Kitale it was the man after God’s heart. In Nairobi it was 61 World Racers passionately pursuing the
Lord’s calling on their life.

This calling is worth pursuing…

Now that is CAPTIVATING!!!

I was able to spend six beautiful days with my wonderful “S Squad”  They are not the people that I left them in the Philippines.  They have truly grasped the power of worship.  They walk more confident in their calling and they are crying out for more.  They have learned what it means to fight and they are not giving up now.  They have three more months to cry out to nations and they are conquering it step by step.  They are people I will forever fight for.  So thank you for your prayers and support for this time with my squad.

This journey for me is not yet over.  Please consider supporting me to finish well with my squad in India.  I will be traveling Aug 25th through Aug 31st to celebrate the victories with this squad.  My travel cost will be $1500.  If you would like to support me on the left side of the page called support me!
