I expect:

to eventually appreciate my backpack
to understand my role as a daughter of the king.
to learn to be thankful for my past
to be afraid
to love better
to become family with my team
to feel small
to feel big through God’s power
to live in humility
to be uncomfortable
to get creative with exercise
to eat good food
to eat interesting food
to spend a lot of time on buses,planes, and trains
to see what God’s kingdom really looks like
