One day after arriving to our ministry host in the beautiful Amazonian town of Shell, Ecuador, our host invited our team to join him on his regularly scheduled trip to the jungle.
Even though we only had one night of orientation, we were eager to visit the Shuar people in the village of Kapuntna.
The travel requires a 5 hour drive down a windy mountainous road and a boat ride across a fast river, but there is a need to go and show the love of Jesus Christ to these people.
It wasn’t the easiest, but it was by far one of the best ministry experiences I’ve ever had.
I would love to go and visit again.
