Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the delicious flavor of a caramel latte in the morning, but the drink isn’t cheap throughout the week. I try to save my coffee time for important reasons.
Throughout the whole process of raising funds, coffee meetings have been the norm and they have been beneficial. I have gained new friends and grown closer with acquaintances. Coffee has been the mediator in sharing my passion in international missions and love for people around the world. The fact that there is a population that needs to feel the love of Jesus outside of the United States. It has opened the eyes of many people of needs that need to be filled.
Aaron Crawford first met me when I visited Crosschurch in Fayetteville, AR, he wanted to talk to me about my life and my dreams. We scheduled a coffee time and became really close. I didn’t know him before hand, but through a simple coffee meeting, he became a close friend and one of the biggest supporters of the World Race.
I had the oppurtunity to lead my friend Chris to Jesus through a simple coffee meeting. I get together with him weekly to here about what is going on in his life. He now helps with the youth at my church and has a small leadership position.
It’s crazy how God uses small things like coffee to share personal testimony and ministry dreams. I guess a small cup of joe can really go a long way.
I would really love to talk to more of you about what I am doing. My passion of ministry and how you can help. We can have coffee any time so you can find out how much you can make a difference, not only in helping me but also helping other nations.
Bless you all and I love you. I am $1,000 dollars short of my launch cost which is needed by June 28. I am $9,000 short of my total cost due by January of 2016.
