Welcome to my Home Page and thank YOU for your support!
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech
the Lord to send out laborers into His harvest.” – Luke 10:2

Accounting for my entire life in a single, succinct blog (ie. online journal entry; the phenomenon to which you are currently testifying) has been my first and greatest challenge thus far on the World Race. Most fundamentally, I am sincerely in love with
God. I am passionate about life and love. For me, life isn’t a mere walk, but a hop, skip, and a jump. I enjoy music, art, poetry, psychology, math, history, politics, science, philosophy, sitting on wooden fences, law, language, literature, theology, nature, health, partying with non-alcoholic beverages, and sports of all kinds. I’m a certified snowboard instructor, but I would teach you for free. (continued after African photography break)

Through my years of study and travel, I have developed a profound
interest both in anthropology and in spreading God’s love to a world in
desperate need. I recently lived in a small hut in a remote village
with the indigenous Bantu people of rural Botswana. There I witnessed
extraordinary perspectives rarely seen by Westerners. I’ve encountered
authentic witch doctors, taken showers with monkeys, been charged by
elephants, and participated in, and even led, tribal ceremonies. I have
a degree in English literature and language, and I am horrible with directions. I still get lost in my own city. (continued after collegiate photography break)

Much like my favorite Switchfoot song, I am twenty-four. My father is my hero; I
receive light-hearted comparisons to him as my greatest compliments. Many of my fundamental beliefs stem from my heavy
involvement with the church in which I grew up. My father was the
pastor, and I was constantly involved with youth, plays, sports, and
services. I occasionally brought my band from college to lead worship.
I believe God is currently moving through me, and as our relationship
grows, I’m finding myself in more and more opportunities to share His
message. As of recent, I’ve seen leaps and bounds in my spiritual walk and I am very excited to share with you any new developments! So sit back, relax, and join me for the next year. Together, with your prayer and support, we are going to make a difference. I mean this from the bottom of my heart. God bless.

Sincerely,

Aaron Darlington, October 2008 World Racer
