This month, Caroline and I decided to split our time among our teams. I left for Arad, Romania to be with Team Proclaim I61 while Caroline went to Tirgu-Mures, Romania to split time with each of the other five teams. I wanted to dedicate a blog to this team who has welcomed me with open arms this month. Their hearts are on fire and they are wanting even more. But I thought I’d share perhaps some of the funnier moments in my time with them (photos from Ashlee Hillis and Shannon Morgan).
Boys will be boys. Don’t let their goofiness fool you, Don (left) and Anthony (right) are amazing men of God. I have enjoyed being with them this month as they continue to be empowered by the Holy Spirit. Watch them this year because God has some amazing things in store for them!
Brandy and Ashlee singing while we work to paint a new daycare facility that will open in two weeks. Brandy is the team leader for Proclaim I61 and has the tremendous heart of a servant. She truly knows what it means to love and offer her life up for others. Ashlee has one of the most discerning spirits I’ve been around. These girls are awesome!
Every morning we walk a mile to our ministry site to renovate. This is us on the walk back with one of our contacts Paula who has been ever-so-hospitable to us.
This is the entire team in front of the City Hall in Arad. Shannon (right of Don), Katie (right of Ashlee) and Kendra (left of me) are the other vital parts that make Proclaim I61 what it is…a family. Each one of them has chosen into this family. They all offer such amazing gifts and I am blessed to have had the opportunity to spend a full month with them!
