The Heir of Isildur
So, here in my last day on Penang Island in the city of Georgetown and I have become aware of a few things after going to PenHOP (Penang House of Worship modeled after IHOP, International House of Worship in the States) this morning for worship and prayer.
First, it was prophesied over me that I would have a heart for the youth (in the States and abroad) and this morning as we prayed for mission mobilization in Malaysia, especially for the rise of the youth, as it will be them that are in the great wave of revival over this country, I suddenly became aware of the heart I have for the youth to begin with. I thought of my nieces and nephews, those at my church back home, those I've come in contact with, and those I will in the next five months and beyond and my heart suddenly came to life. One of the older men prayed for his generation and his daughter's generation (my mom's generation I think) about there rising up spiritual mothers and fathers to encourage and strengthen the youth of today, which after praying about it is my generation and the generations that follow.
However, I also felt that God will be leading me down a path to be a spiritual father to subsequent generations and to guide, direct, and lead them in the Way of the Kingdom for many years to come. I started putting pieces together concerning Malaysia as a whole and with my heart for youth, I know for certain that someday I will be back in this country. Also, the guy leading the prayer and worship this morning at PenHOP talked about how this country is prime for spiritual revival and I was immediately drawn back to the poem I wrote while at Fort Cornwallis (I'll add that soon) that talks about this country being ready for spiritual upheaval. I know it is coming and it will be through the leading of the youth, but also by them working with the other generation as a unified front against the forces of evil.
Second, last night I somehow got my mind on The Lord of the Rings (go figure right) and upon Aragorn, the heir of Isildur, who hid his identity for so long to avoid the evil that he couldn't rise up and take his rightful place. It wasn't until he fully realized who he was that he became strong enough to pick up the shards of Elendil, Narsil, and reforge the sword that would further define him as rightful king of Gondor, into Andúril (according to the films by Peter Jackson, not the books themselves, for in the books Aragorn only dealt with self-doubt and such, but I think that is where Jackson pulled the not wanting to reveal who he was and take up the throne).

Anyways, God granted me some revelation on this matter while praying and worshipping at PenHOP that I would like to share. For too long have the sons and daughters of God all around the world hid their identities, or ran from them and their destinies, further immobilizing the Gospel of Jesus. It is in the moments when sons and daughters of God, His princes and princesses realize that they are DIRECT heirs to the throne that they get the courage and strength to move with all the power of the Kingdom against the darkness of the enemy and advance upon the gates of Hell.
1 Peter 2:9 says, "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."
2 Corinthians 6:18 reads, "and I will be a father to you,
and you shall be sons and daughters to me,says the Lord Almighty."
You see, we have hidden ourselves for so long that we have forgotten who we are, forgotten that we are sons and daughters of the most High God, that He calls us His royal priesthood, princes and princesses of His eternal Kingdom. With this we have strayed from taking up our mantle, or swords and axes of the heavenly realms (our voices and spiritual gifts ready for the taking) and let the enemy have free reign across our lands. Well, I'm coming now with a message for you all:
RISE UP!!
Rise up children of God, pick up your sword, reforge it in the fires of the Kingdom and let your voice be heard against the chaos and evil of this world. We have the full authority and power of Jesus Christ dwelling within us and we command great respect when we step into that authority and power. The powers of darkness can do nothing but submit when we pray with all diligence and strength. Yes, it will be a struggle and many times we will lose sight of things or even sight of what is important, but it is important to remember that the God of all creation is always with us. He will NEVER leave us NOR forsake us!
For the youth, including my generation, the time is now that you stop running from who you are. Stop thinking you are worth nothing, for you are worth EVERYTHING to God; henceforth, why Christ died upon the cross for each of us. Remember, however, though Christ died on the cross, He ROSE from the dead three days later and dwells within us. He is ALIVE!! He listens and hears our prayers. He responds accordingly!
Now is the time, brethren, when the brethren of Jesus Christ MUST stand UP with all strength and power found in Him! Walk to the statue where your sword has been laying for centuries past in brokenness and shards. Take hold of the hilt, the pieces, and go to the blacksmith with His kilns of Holy Fire to reforge your sword and you anew. Now is the time, for the army of God to rise up and beat back the darkness of evil and to NEVER back down from the fight! I'm praying for you to do this and praying God will reveal much to you of His Kingdom and work at hand. No more can we sit idly by as the earth weeps and shakes, and the lost souls out there perish because we think playing video or computer games are more important than advancing the Gospel, or T.V. shows can possibly bring about a change to the lives around us or to society as a whole.
RISE UP!!
My heart is breaking for the youth of this world. I must rise up myself, in order to encourage, strengthen and save the ones He puts before me. I take my own sword up and let God reforge it into a proper weapon for a 'Warrior of Righteousness and Justice!' My heart roars with a passion unlike never before…much is to be done, but I will go along a step at a time at the Lord's direction. Thank you for reading!
I will end with a song by Mali Music…'Conqueror', because we are MORE THAN Conquerors, we are Mighty men and women of God's HOLY Kingdom and apart of the Holy priesthood with ALL of Heaven ready for us to take hold of our claim of inheritance and use it for the advancement of the Kingdom! May God richly bless you!! (note: the music video actually ends at 5.55 in so there's nothing after that, don't think your speakers broke).
