WOW!!!!

Well, then, deja-vu anyone.

Ok. Let me back-up a bit. On the 31st of December, S-Squad boarded a plane in San-Jose, Costa Rica for Los Angeles, California. We made it there a little before the stroke of midnight and at that bell toll we rejoiced and celebrated the New Year. I have heard it said that the year 2011 is a transformative year and I have no doubt that that is the truth. Big things are in store for myself, as well as my team and all of S-Squad.

We had a lay-over in LAX and I got some an exquisite In-N-Out Burger meal. Delicious.

Anyways, at 11:00 a.m. on the first of January, we boarded another plane (our third since we switched planes for LAX in El Salvador) and took off. My heart racing a million miles a minute for I was yet again on a 14 hour flight to Asia; hence, the deja-vu. Three years ago in the summer of 2007 I embarked on a flight to Hong Kong and now I did it once more, just with different circumstances and different people…I wouldn't have it any other way.

We made it to Hong Kong International Airport on the 2nd of January around 6:30 p.m. and celebrated Lauren's birthday! We went through the security line to go to our next gate, unfortunately God had a new idea and I ended up having to go check my tent because of the tent spikes being too sharp to be for carry-on. Oh well, I had to go through immigration and I got stamps because of it…deja-vu again.

Then, as I was walking around I saw from a distance the very Popeyes restaurant I sat in three years ago with my group from St. Augustine and totally smiled over the fact that I was once again on the field for the Kingdom of God. So Glorious!!

We had a few hour layover, then boarded a plane to Manila, Philippines where once we arrived my team (still no name) and team Crash of Love piled into a van to go to a ministry site where the two teams staying in Manila will be at for some sleep.

This morning we take a few hour bus ride and a 75 minute boat ride (yes Jake, not 75 hours…I was super sleepy give me a break) to our ministry location.

Travel days are exhausting, yet so worth it for what God has called us to at a time such as this. I will hopefully be posting a blog soon about my new team and our team name…we're still working on that. Please be patient. I love you all!!!
