Pandamonium (aka Panama)

Written around December 8th…finally able to post it.

I am in Volcan, Panama working with an amazing contact and staying at a Lighthouse Church, which is a Four Square Gospel Church. It's pretty ridiculously sweet here and we even learned a bunch about Operation Mobilization and the ship, Logos Hope…not sure but I have a draw to this idea of traveling the world for two years on a ship. We will see what God does with this later though.

We are growing as a team and being drawn closer together. I love it and cannot wait for what God draws the seven of us to do.

Back to Volcan, the neighborhoods have the feel of the neighborhoods in Deltona or Sanford in Florida, which a couple of my teammates who know of these places have confirmed my thinking.  It is a pretty surreal feeling, but awesome! The hospitality of those we have met has totally rocked and God is so faithful and good to provide for us in the ways He has done so the past few days. Pretty crazy!

We spent a couple of days here with Teams Crash of Love and Pneuma, and now since they have left we wil be diving into the projects and work that our contact has for us. First, we will spend a few days in Boquete on the other side of the volcano doing practical work for a church and missionaries over there. Second, we will spend a few days in David City doing outreach and evangelism work. Then we will come back to Volcan and finish our time here with evangelism and other work and programs with the church. One day I think we may even get to travel to Panama City and see the canal, but that's not set in stone yet. We will end our time here on Christmas Day by putting on a Christmas program of some sort…we have not figured out what that will look like yet.

I am extremely excited for what God has this month for Team Lionheart. We will even get a lesson on spiritual warfare at some point and I know that is in line with visions for our team, so uber-excited about that!

Stay tuned and maybe, just maybe, you can learn what I found out from our 'Personality Profile' class today….
