Dawn Treader Revelations

I just watched The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and came across some very great revelations from God about this year and about the future. Now, you might remember one my blogs near the end of month 3 where I wrote about other revelations I got concerning this movie. If you do not remember, then please go back and read that blog. Thanks!

Anyways, the revelations I got come from two quotes in the movie, which I will share with you and expound upon them.

The first quote comes from Aslan speaking to Lucy after she found the spell to make her the most beautiful as she desires, so she uses this spell to try and be as beautiful as her sister, Susan from the other two movies. However, by her using the spell, which wishes herself away, her sister and brothers do not know of who she is, nor of Narnia, because it was Lucy who had found Narnia and took them all there.

Aslan says, "You doubt your value. Don't run from who you are."

I heard these words and had to pause the movie. You see, a lot of the time before this Race I doubted my value to anyone and everyone, even my value to myself and my value to God. Yet, here are these words that speak volumes of truth, in that we are not called to doubt ourselves or our value to anyone. We are to trust and know that we have worth, worth so much that God sent His ONLY Son to die for us. Yes, Christ came to die for me, and for YOU, the reader. With that being said, we are not to run from who we are. A lot of the time in the past, I was insecure and unsure of myself, of who I was, of whose I was, and so would run from being me, run from being the man God called me to be, and run into a white-coated shell that I thought could shield me from the treacherous outside world.

I am here to tell you that NO LONGER is this the case. It will NOT occur any longer. This is who I am and who I am is what you get, if that is not good enough for anybody, then they will have to walk away. I also want to tell YOU, the reader, that YOU have worth, YOU do not have to run from who you are, no matter what. YOU have worth not only to me, but to God as well, especially to God. He fights and longs for you. His arms are open wide when you get tired from running. I hope you will take notice.

Now, the second quote comes from King Caspian as the entire crew of The Dawn Treader is about to enter into the pure evil of Dark Island to locate the seventh ancient sword of Narnia. The quote is apart of King Caspian's speech to encourage and strengthen the crew before their fight with the evil within Dark Island, which will tempt, seduce, and frighten everyone to the core.

He says, "Together we have traveled far. Together we have faced adversity;  together we CAN do it again. So, now is not the time to fall to fierce temptations. Be strong! Never give in!…"

I had to definitely stop and go back to listen to this a few times. My spirit instantly peaked up at the words to indicate a deep significance God was trying to show me. What do you say was He trying to tell me?

Well, these past eleven months I have been traveling with S-Squad of sixty-one men and women of God, as well as with each of you, my readers, and so God was granting me some encouragement in that regardless of the Race coming to a close shortly that we as a squad will stick together. We have made lifelong friendships that will never end and we will continue to help and build each other up in the future. For you, the readers, you have read my crazy posts and maybe even commented on them, and now will probably have to go back to reading Time magazine or The Wall Street Journal (just kidding); however, I can assure you that my journey is just beginning and that I will continue to write if you wish to continue to read of the adventures God takes me on.

All this to say, thank you to you the reader! Thank you for reading my blogs and praying for me! Thank you that you care so much that you would take time out of your day to read my ramblings!

To S-Squad, "Together we have traveled far. Together we have faced adversity; together we CAN do it again. So, now is not the time to fall to fierce temptations. Be strong! Never give in!…"

I love each and every one of you and want you to know that I am always there for each of you, just give me a ring or e-mail and I'll respond! I am excited for the next steps in ALL of our lives for I know that God has HUGE plans for ALL of S-Squad to continue bringing Kingdom on this Earth. So, be encouraged and don't allow the enemy to come in and rob you of the joy, lessons, and pure crazy love that have occurred throughout this year!

    '…Be strong! NEVER GIVE IN!!'

Much love in Christ to all of you,
