Curtain Call: Mixed Bag of Emotions
As I sit on the plane, the Airbus 380 in seat 87C, staring at the camera view from the ground below us and listening to the artist Adele, I cannot stop but picture my squad! Face after face, memory after memory from this past year with S-Squad flash across the vortex of my mind and send chills down my spine as…as this last flight comes ever closer to an end!
This journey, this crazy adventure called The World Race has one last curtain call, but…but it shall not be the very end of S-Squad together for we shall all be together in one another's hearts and prayers. We shall go on to even greater moments, even greater stories and adventures and with every story crafted we shall all have a bird's eye view to encourage, strengthen, and contine to speak life over one another.
My beautiful team, The Cavalry.
The beauty of The World Race now comes into play, as no individual is ever left alone or left behind enemy lines without an entire family of brothers and sisters in Christ at the ready to dive into the trenches for each other.
I must say, again, "S-Squad, thank you for this past year and the life we spent together. May God bless every single one of you and ALL of your dreams! I love you! And The World Race: Thank you for all you've shown me and taught me this year, especially about myself and who I am in Christ! Continue bringing Kingdom! Thank you!"
The approach arrives soon as the announcement just got shared. Although, my heart leaps with the thought, it also drops as I must now say "see you later" to my brethren and now closest friends. Yes, I am a mixed bag of emotions as the page to this chapter ends and my Father flips the paper for tomorrow the next chapter begins.
Stay tuned for the next blog of God's provisions while I stayed a deer in the headlights for a few hours to start off the new chapter with God.
Airbus A380…huge plane!
