After 2 long travel days and a sleepless night filled with much anticipated reunions and catch up, we set off for the Dominican. The Canadians were all randomly selected in the Miami airport for the random search. Nothing like a good old pat down and full swab of all your belongings to send you off.
The city is beautiful. The people smile at us and greet us. We have found our way to all the major places and we are more than blessed to have a home to share while we are training. This week is about learning all the ins and outs and logistics. On Saturday we begin our first ministry. My team (Luminous) is off to the remote areas in the mountains. I am so excited to see what God has in store for us.
My deepest gratitude to all of you who have partnered with me this year. My heart is over flowing with thankfullness. Know that you have made this possible for all of us. Thank you so much for your continued prayers. I can feel them. Please continue to lift us up in prayer. I do not know how much communication I have in the mountains. i will try to keep you updated often
