I wrote this a few days before moving away from Georgia and I completely forgot to post it! This was encouraging for me today, & I hope it will be for you too !!
the end of this season at cga is probably the hardest for me to say goodbye to. the most bitter sweet type of ending?? looking forward to such a sweet & restful season— full of breath and wonder. looking back at the power that’s erupted out of me over the course of this semester and the cavities of capacity it’s felt like the Lord has opened in me. just thinking about saying goodbye to friends that have now been with me for three of my most life changing, pivotal seasons makes my eyes start to well up & I get that lump on my throat.
two days from today I’ll transition into a season that i’ve been dreaming about for almost a year !! I’m moving to Wisconsin Dells, WI to work with a coffee shop called Bella Goose for the summer! I crossed paths with this coffee shop ministry in Thailand while on my race, and the Lord has allowed my dream of opening a coffee shop to move forward while being trained in entrepreneurship for the summer with Bella Goose!
this season has been full of so much goodness that I don’t want to leave— but Papa keeps saying it’s only gonna get better. i’m moving from glory to glory.
there’s this weird tension of not wanting to leave something so sweet & holding onto goodness so tight before I walk into more.
but I know
I know this isn’t my last season with these friends.
I know this isn’t my last season as a leader — in fact it’s one of the first where I actually know it.
I know that this next season will be one that pushes me hard, but it will also a season of raw beauty and tenderness and fulfillment of the Lord’s promises.
and I know that the Lord is good. I know that He’s gonna keep showing me parts of Him that I never knew and parts of Him to rediscover.
I’ve now been in Wisconsin Dells for a week! A dear friend from cga also moved to the dells with me, and it’s been such a sweet gift from the Lord to be in another season with her. We’ve been creating a cozy space in our host home— which is just a reminder of the Lord’s faithfulness, settling into our work schedules, and just enjoying the beautiful state parks around the area!
just breathing deep and letting my heart know that He is good.
“Lean Back” by Maverick City is starting to become my anthem for the summer as it sings truth over what the Lord spoke into my time here !!

I’ve surprisingly got a good amount of free time, so if you’d like a fun bit of encouragement, leave your address below!! i’d love to connect with anyone & everyone(:
May the peace of the Lord be upon you.
