Bienvenidos A Bolivia!
(Welcome to Bolivia)
I can´t say enough good things about Cochabamba, Bolivia. This city is incredible. The weather is perfect, there is a circus in town, and I found Honey Bunches of Oats in the foodstore (even though I didn´t buy them… we eat of $2.70 a day, but still, i found them!)… We are also able to work with Casa de Amor Orphanage, as well as with International Orphans Union, who bathe the kids who are forced to beg on the streets. We we are able each week to bathe them, give them clean clothes, and do their hair. We have also been able to do children´s evangelism in various areas of the city (today we put on a show for 230 kids in a public school.) There´s also the highest Jesus Statue in the world (think Rio de Janiero), and we got to climb it inside, kinda like the Statue of Liberty, and pray over Cochabamba! We took another gondola up (ski lift to Jesus), and…well…it´s just a super cool city, and we´re loving it here. In two and a half weeks we´ll be heading back to La Paz for our first Debrief, and then moving to Albania in Europe! Crazy! Anyway, here are some pictures of Bolivia. As soon as I can I will post the Peru Recap video that´s currently uploading on the slowest internet connection in the world 🙂 Thanks so much for your prayers and support. Some of the orphans you can be praying for are: Josie, Josue, Camilla, Mateo, and Fernanda. I´ll try to post their stories soon!

The Jesus Statue that overlooks the city. We climbed as far as his arms.
Orphan washing in the plaza. We obviously can´t take or post pictures of it
actually going on, but the tents were used to bathe them, and the people
sitting on the steps did their hair afterwards (my favorite part!)
The plaza, my favorite part of the city.
Some of our kiddos singing the song we taught them 🙂
This little kiddo was saved from the fiery explosion that killed his mom.
Our guys being real men and feeding baby orphans.
Before our skit. Forgive the costumes, we live out of a backpack 🙂
The city is covered with these purple trees.
Me and Fernanda at Casa de Amor Orphanage.
The lady we buy our vegetables from in the market.
Our taxi. Pretty safe, if I do say so myself.
Performing our Superhero song for 230 kiddos.
Here´s a song that I´ve been listening to a lot lately. Enjoy!
