We have a little more information now on where our squad will be next year, and what ministry we will partner with first! So first, WE WILL BE SERVING IN COLUMBIA!!(party man emoji)!! We’re partnering with a ministry on the ground that started off as a response to addiction and homelessness in the surrounding cities.

pause time: I think our mission can get misconstrued as ”short-term” missionaries, and I’d love to make this clearer: Adventures In Missions employs missionaries from around the world to first come together in community —-> to then go out in teams to serve with their ministry partners all around the world. We partner with local ministries in every city we’re in to be hands and feet to the already established outreach. We build on relationships formed. We support local ministries serving their city, their people, in the ways they will receive it best and the most safely.

AIM has long-standing ministry partners equipping servants around the world, and I am THRILLED to meet them. I’m humbled to learn from them. I’m pumped to see how it looks to serve&love ones neighbor through so many eyes, in many different countries. And Columbia is up first! We will fly there from training camp in January and see where exactly we can serve best. Will it be in the rehabilitation and recovery center or the homeless shelter? Will it be through the church or children’s ministry? Will it be through the bakery, feeding program, or prison ministry? Just over one month away and I’ll let you know (balloon emoji)
