Dear friends and family,
While thinking about what I am going to do after my senior year, I have felt called to participate in the World Race Gap Year 2020-2021! My whole life I have felt the Lord calling me to international missions. Last year I went to Brazil to do foreign exchange and although I did not go on this trip for missionary purposes, the Lord was so good and provided me with an amazing church and so many opportunities to share the gospel with non-believers. After going on this trip, he affirmed that missions was what he was calling me to do. When beginning my college applications, I felt the Lord calling me to something different and that’s when I encountered the World Race.
You may be wondering what the World Race is. It is a 9 month long mission where I will be traveling around the world to share the Gospel. I will spend 3 months each in Costa Rica, Romania, and Cambodia in response to Jesus’s call to “ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” (Mark 16:15). In each country we will be ministering to children, serving the homeless, and primarily focusing on evangelism, spreading the love of Christ to all corners of the earth.
I am so honored to be accepted into this program and feel so blessed that the Lord is going to be able to use me to serve and expand His Kingdom. I would love to ask you to pray about joining my financial support team. In this, not only would you be partnering with me, but you would also be partnering with the Father in the call to bring the Kingdom to some of the most unreached places in the world.
