Life is crazy… COVID life is crazier. Of course, we knew some things were bound to change, and it broke my heart when I heard the South Africa trip was cancelled. I cried. I screamed a little…

But after a few minutes of panic, God calmed me down and made me realize something greater was in store for me: Ecuador. Obviously, I had my heart on South Africa, but just thinking about the work that can be done for God’s Kingdom in Ecuador is honestly elating. Details are going to change… I know that… but I have a feeling God knows what he’s doing.

The Ecuador trip will be the same dates (January 22nd-April 22nd) and almost the same cost ($6,400 instead of $6,900). As of right now, I’m just $800 away from my fundraising goal!

To be honest, I didn’t really touch any fundraising from September through November- life got a tad bit crazy. So, it fills me with so much joy to know that God had it covered. He provided. He did it… again.

I’m sitting here today filled with so much gratitude. I serve a God who loves me wholeheartedly. I serve a God who calls us to serve even in the middle of a pandemic. I serve a God who can do anything. Dang. That’s pretty cool.

There’s my happy schpeel. Over and out 🙂
