Hey y’all!
My name is Chelsea Maddess. I am from Canada and I am a child of God ready to see where the Lord keeps leading me. I am following the call God put on my life, leading to do a World Race! Aka- why I am currently in Atlanta, Georgia and writing this. Yay! Just found out where it is located from the 50 states (southeast part in case you were wondering too). I have been at the training base since Friday January 22! Wow! Only took 3 flights, time change, getting vaccinations, many emails and advice from the base( thanks Ronny!) and a lot of prayer but golly, I made it.
Flexibility is definitely a huge necessity with life these days, aka the Corona Virus. Rest assured this news was a lil shock to me but not to God. We were supposed to go to Nicaragua, however, due to circumstances and us flying internationally in the midst of a global pandemic, the amazing staff here at World Race have prayed and now the Central America team is flying to… Costa Rica. It is a beautiful place the Lord is bringing my team and I to. In less than 12 hours, 01 minutes, and 15 seconds but who is keeping count.
Currently, we are leaving Tuesday January 26, 2021. Which means tomorrow morning at 5:00am heading to the airport. Woohoo! Up and at ‘em! We are getting ready for roughly a short sleep, 4 hour flight, following will be a 3 hour bus ride to where we will be meeting our ministry host within Costa Rica.

Lord, I pray your hand over this team as we travel tomorrow. I thank you how well You created this team, I can already see much fruit. Would you keep us protected from the virus, and that everything would go smoothly through airports, transportation, pain relief over my back, unity between the two Central America teams, and language barriers as we arrive in Costa Rica. God, I pray for guidance over our team that we can come together and truly grow as individuals but come together learning and teaching from what we all bring to the table. Thank you Father for being so near and so good. You have got all of us this far and I thank you for leading us where your glory is needed. We trust You and we love You. Amen!
