Hey friends,

Due to a slight case of sun poisoning (haha its true, the sun is no joke here), here I sit taking in the week and reflecting on the Lord, His goodness and all of HIS kindness. Y’all HE is so good and blows me away every day, in both big and small things! Ministry has looked a little different then I have expected but I know this is the Lord opening me up to new things and also teaching me that Ministry is allowed to look different. That is how the Lord created it. No ministry is suppose to be the same. There are so many different types. The current ministry we have been doing has been lots of painting. The words that come to my mind when I think of Jaco is beauty from ashes. Jaco is a hard city but there is so much good fruit that is starting to come from it. God is here!! He is moving in so many different ways. Art bombing the city is one way we are showing the love of the Lord. By art bombing the city, it is bringing life back into it. It also is making locals curious which usually results in them coming to help us, giving us the opportunity to not only talk with them but share community with them.  Yesterday we went into a new park called INVOO. This park is a lot smaller than the one we started with and there are a ton more kids!! We started bringing this park back to life by weeding and cleaning it up. We scrubbed the playground, plastered the wall, and played soccer with a lot of the kids!! Did a mention the kids helped us with every little job? Being in INVOO brought me so much JOY. It was exactly what my heart needed. I had the opportunity to play with so many kids, and even if we didn’t speak the same language we still had a blast and felt connection!! I started to play with these two little boys on the playground which led to me sitting down with their mother. She spoke such amazing English. I enjoyed sitting with her and hearing her story. I was given the opportunity to not only speak life over her but also receive the life that she spoke into me. She is such an incredible mother of two little boys and one on the way!  We had such sweet conversation and it was incredible to speak with her about church and also just her life here in Jaco! To me she is not just a lady I spoke to at the park, she is a sister in Christ and a sweet new friend. The Lord is here in Jaco, I can’t speak that out enough. I’m thankful for a God that grabs my hand to lead me into His goodness and walk me into His love. A love that at times is hard to understand but is so overwhelming and unconditional. Its only week two and the Lord is speaking to me and is taking me from the valley and walking me to the mountain peak.
