Quick update on the mission trip with the threat of Covid-19, The devil is not stopping us and we are still launching in September!! If the pandemic does get worse somehow and borders aren’t open by September there is a contingency plan. If we can’t cross borders then we will go to headquarters in Gainesville, GA for missional training, leadership development, and discipleship. We would then stay in GA until January and then hopefully be able to get out on the field and make it to all of the countries for our route. If you have more questions please leave a comment and I’ll get back to you asap.

A few personal thoughts on the corona virus and how life is now. My thoughts on the virus are different from many of my friends thoughts. Majority of the kids in my class are upset that they don’t get to walk across the stage for graduation but it hasn’t bothered me, I’m just happy for the memories I got to make. The way I see it I can focus on the sad fact that my graduation isn’t like a traditional graduation and the only thing that comes from that mind set is a horrible attitude and the loss of joy. The other way I see it is that I can look at it as my graduation will be the first one to be the way it is! Its a totally new experience for everyone, and new experiences is how knowledge is gained. Maybe its just me because I try to be spontaneous and flexible with what life throws at me but this seems like just a simple little thing that has happened and will be a fun story someday. Things will happen in this life that are bad and we all have a choice; feel sorry for our selves and let it steal our joy or look for something good in it and celebrate that one thing joyously. A song that just came on as I’m writing this is “Sparrows” by Jason gray and I believe that it goes perfectly with the thoughts written above. So during this time of quarantine I want to invite you to look for the small things to be joyous about praise God for it.

For a quick example lol I want to praise God for helping me with fundraising. He has helped me a few times when I’ve been talking to people about the trip. He has also had several people donate so far and so I am up to $3,870 of $15,000 raised in about a 1 month time period!! Praise God!!! He has blessed me several times with encouragement for the trip as well. So before I go I want to say a quick thanks to those that have donated and to those that have been praying for me and for my squad and the trip. Thank you so much!!!

(not sure how to official sign this lol so) Your boi
