Hi fam!! I’m so glad you’re here with me!! My name is Brooklyn Atkinson and I am going on THE WORLD RACE 11N11 AND I AM STOKED!! I’m going on an Expedition route in January 2021 which goes to some of the most unreached people in the world!
I moved to San Diego, California almost 4 years ago, and it is home to me! 🙂 I lived here when I was in high school for a couple years before my family moved again. I had always known in my heart that SD was home, though and that I would make my way back somehow. Well, fast forward to May 2016 and here I am, 4 fours later.
I’m 24 now and know that the Lord had BIG plans for me here in SD and part of that plan was to drop me in the middle of a community of WR Alumni! I first discovered the race and felt the call when I was 19, and had no idea that I would be mentored by three alumni and be poured into by many others who’ve walked the race, simply by following my heart to San Diego!
The Lord has done so many big things and brought so much healing to my life in the last four years, and has prepared my heart for this call, and I am so ready to take what I’ve learned about life to the mission field!
