Officially leaving for Ecuador today! Like officially official. Through all the fundraising stresses, Covid precautions, packing, doubts, and prayers, the Lord pulled through like He always does. Not much to say but I wanted to share this little poem (if you will) that I wrote on the early-morning I left Colorado. Blessings!

Sitting and waiting for the departure. No emotion flowing through, maybe due to lack of sleep or overwhelming of nerves or a new kind of excitement. But here I am. Leaving. Trusting. Letting go of all, for Him. And He is the only thing I am sure of. The steadiness in my soul while awaiting a new season.
