hello,
it’s been a while but i am still alive. i’m sorry for my lack of consistency in posting blogs. my lack of blogs has led to you not getting to hear the amazing things that God has been orchestrating and for that i am truly sorry.
this week i had the opportunity to go into the jungle with cole, jason, brook, and most of team jubilee (abby, kayla, quincy, erika, marissa, emily). at the beginning of our week we decided that we would do joint team times at the end of each day. this allowed us to spend intentional time together not only during the days but also after dinner in organized times. with the joining of half of team fuego (formerly know as ecclesia and petros) and team jubilee we created team fubilee.
this well balanced team of godly women and men did manual labor, evangelism, saturday night church, sunday morning church, sunday school, youth ministry, and women’s ministry. in all that we were able to accomplish for the kingdom through our obedience this week my favorite times were consistently around the dinner table and in team times.
during these times there was not a facade or a mask being worn before these other people. in our joking, crying, and australian accents we were able to love and honor everyone. this is a result of only one thing. a life that has been laid before God as a living sacrifice over and over so that he might refine and renew it.
this small group of my squad that i got to spend this time with were the same people that i lived in georgia with, but they were not the same.
it was clearly evident through the way they carried themselves both in ministry and in casual interaction that they were different, through and through. there was no faking renewal. there was just a lot of Jesus being shown through who they truly are, sons and daughters of the true King.
long live fubilee, the relationships that were deepened, and the kingdom that we brought.
also i’m in costa rica
stay stoked,
reed
