What’s up everyone. I just wanted to write blog post to keep all of you informed as to what the status of our race is and how it has and has not been impacted by COVID.
First of all, THANK YOU to everyone who has reached out to become prayer and financial partners with me. God as has been amazingly gracious and every single one of you play a significant role in my ability to go on the World Race.
So, despite COVID-19 the plan regarding our Gap Year is still to launch in September. However, in the case of restricted international travel the wonderful Adventures in Missions and WRGY teams have put together a backup plan. This BACKUP PLAN would essentially be a few months of missional training, leadership development and discipleship at the AIM headquarters in Gainesville, GA. From there we would leave in January to begin our mission work, however, on a shorter timeline.
The decision regarding which plan we are able to commit too will be made by July first. I just wanted to take the time and let everyone know that our Gap Year is still on in some capacity no matter what.
